Ranch Update

The April 18, 2015 Passport Saturday was a huge success. We were well supported by our customer base with record attendance and sales. Our outdoor sun-drenched Redwood terrace was in full Spring bloom, with roses, tritonias, irises, and daffodils, under blue skies, no wind and mild temperatures. Our wines showed well and the Estate Cabernet Sauvignon from Montebello Ridge was the hit of the day as we almost sold out of the entire vintage by the end of the tasting. No worries for you Cabernet lovers since we have the 2014 estate now in barrel coming down the pipeline. We expect to have a barrel sample preview at our next upcoming passport. So don't miss this opportunity to check on the progress of this promising vintage. Our winemaker has told us that the 2014 Estate Cab will be a tremendous hit and we are very excited. Not to be outdone, the 2013 Shenandoah Zin was also a big favorite and we are almost completely sold out. A real crowd-pleaser, that lived up to it's reputation as a fruit bomb, has been included in the ranks of California's "Monster Zins."
